We are embarking on a new decade with new donors and new marketing options, impacting gift planning success.  This presentation focuses on key trends that will shape gift planning.  With changes in the economy, gift annuities and bequests will be the gifts of choice. Projected tax increases may impact giving. Advisors will play an important role in financial planning. Technology and communications’ advances will bring an explosion of donor information.

These trends will guide gift planners’ marketing using print, website, eNewsletters and video.

Renowned speaker, writer and thinker in the field of philanthropy and nonprofit organizational behavior, Kay Sprinkel Grace is the founder and principal of Transforming Philanthropy, LLC.

 

With a passion for philanthropy and insights based in decades of work with nonprofits as a staff development officer, consultant and volunteer, Kay brings new perspective and freshness to the practice of ethical nonprofit planning, management, donor development and fundraising.

 

Kay is known for her systemic approach to donor and fund development and for her work with boards and staffs, which strengthens their ability and willingness to lead their organizations.  Since beginning her independent consulting work in 1987, she has built a strong reputation and client loyalty.
